Join Us in June at the Farm

Dear Farm Friends,

As usual at this time of year, Alemany Farm is abundant with blooms, greenery, ripening fruits and veggies, and all sorts of farm friends, human and otherwise.

You yourself may have helped plant some of the cucumbers, squashes, beans, tomatoes, strawberries, peppers, or other classic summer produce that is now maturing into productivity. And our front herb garden is looking especially lovely this year, thanks to all the work our dedicated volunteers have recently put in.

So please join the Friends of Alemany Farm for one of the upcoming community workdays below. If you haven’t been to the farm in a while, you’ll get to see all the site improvements that Rebuilding Together helped us achieve on Rebuilding Day in April, including new raised beds and the beautifully refurbished education circle, among others.

The farm will be home in the coming months to several summer camps for local youth to spend time outdoors learning about gardening, healthy food, local ecosystems, and more. But we’ll be here, too, with our weekend and Monday volunteer-powered workdays. Our hard work — with you — all year long helps set the scene to make Alemany Farm a vibrant site for these summer camp experiences for kids.
