It Starts with the Soil: Soil Fertility for Your Garden
Saturday, May 9, 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
Instructor: Jason Mark
How can you get the most out of your backyard garden? It all starts with the soil, since soil fertility is key to having healthy and strong plants that can withstand pest and disease pressures. This class will provide an overview in soil testing, soil nutrients, cover cropping in Northern California’s climate, and compost basics.
Jason Mark is a co-founder of Alemany Farm and a veteran urban gardener.
